Responsibilities
Contribute to the estimating team as required on a project-specific basis for lump-sum and hard bid projects.
Develop budgets, create bid packages, and descope subcontractors on Cost plus.
Conduct an initial plan review, participate in the project kickoff meeting, and develop a thorough understanding of the project.
Review the Prime Contract in its entirety and ensure that all requirements and obligations are understood and addressed with project controls, documentation, procedures, etc.
Develop the project chart of accounts with cost codes (using standard cost codes).
Collaborate with the Project Engineer and Superintendent to create the Master Project Schedule.
Create and execute Purchase Orders and Purchase Order log according to standard operating procedures.
Conduct ongoing plan reviews of all document revisions, bulletins, and deltas. Maintain a thorough understanding of project documents.
Assume responsibility for managing all costs on the project. Report costs to the VP Operations (and in some cases Owner) monthly according to the standard cost reporting procedures.
Assume responsibility for all project correspondence.
Manage relationships with all the project participants with a consideration towards all potential future opportunities.
Coordinate and collaborate with other subcontractors.
Work with the Superintendent to coordinate closeout.
Manage closeout of all subcontractor contracts according to standard procedures.
Manage Engineer closeout process and ensure proper storage of project documents.
Perform other duties that may not be listed here but are part of assigned responsibilities.

Required
3-7 years of experience on large commercial concrete projects required.
Degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a combination of concrete experience and education.
Basic computer literacy.
Exposure or experience with Primavera P6 or other construction accounting and scheduling programs.
Positive attitude and eagerness to embrace new technology and tools in the industry.
Ability to lead and desire to teach and mentor Project Engineers and Field employees.
Preferred
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification is a plus.
