Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects related to Locomotive Builds, Research and Development, and Aftermarket products.

Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget.

Organize and lead project teams, develop detailed project plans, and communicate goals with stakeholders.

Control project costs, manage budgets, and report project status to management.

Perform risk management, maintain project documentation, and establish relationships with stakeholders.

Travel as required to fulfill duties (20-30% of the time).

Required

Bachelors degree with emphasis in Business or Program Management or equivalent

Experience using in MS-Project, Primavera or other project management scheduling tool

Minimum 10 years’ experience on capital intensive, highly engineering, long life cycle product line

Exceptional written and verbal skills

Exceptional conflict resolution skills

Thorough understanding locomotive product

Experience in successfully managing people, projects and/or programs

Ability to influence and lead others

Excellent level of analytical ability to assess, identify and facilitate appropriate alternative courses of action

Able to work independently

High level of interpersonal skills to work within team environment

Ability to influence and lead others; both up and down

Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines

Ability to travel as required (20% - 30%)

Preferred

Masters Degree

Exposure to ERP systems

PMP certified highly preferred

Locomotive knowledge preferred
