Responsibilities
Plan the project
Develop detailed project timelines that consider the unique requirements of each project while utilizing a structured project management framework (e.g. stage-gate process).
Assess project resource needs and assemble the appropriate cross-functional teams.
Create and implement a communication plan that aligns with the needs of the business and project.
Execute the project
Clearly communicate the project vision and guide the team to deliver objectives.
Lead the execution of project plans, ensuring accountability for project timelines, budgets, risks, and action plans.
Gather and distribute relevant project updates to stakeholders to ensure consistent communication.
Organize and lead project meetings that drive action, address risks, and foster collaborative problem-solving.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate the project
Lead the project close-out process by analyzing successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Facilitate operational changes based on insights gained from each project evaluation.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
Direct experience managing complex product innovation projects through the stage gate process within the CPG industry.
Proficiency in using project management software & platforms.
Strong understanding of the Project Management framework and the development of project management documentation (e.g. project charter, communication plans, timelines, RACI chart, risk mitigation and change management plans, and project closure report).
Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple projects, tight timelines, and a range of stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels, including remote, multi-functional teams, and senior leadership.
Critical thinker, able to challenge the status quo and think creatively to resolve operational issues.
Ability to thrive and adapt in a changing environment.
Preferred
PMP certification is a plus but not required.
Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience with process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and complex product development cycles.
