Responsibilities

Track short-term & longer-term activities across the Valve Production team, ensuring prioritization relative to the overall program schedule.
Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Design Engineers to remove roadblocks.
Develop/communicate key metrics with visibility across the team and key stakeholders.
Support flow-down of company-wide command media to ensure compliance.
Identify resource gaps and work with other managers to develop solutions.
Availability for work during core business hours.
Travel and work after hours may be required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Highly organized individual
3+ years experience in a project management role
Demonstrated ability to operate, make decisions, lead, and make forward progress in ambiguous environments
Very strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle small and large projects with a diversity of internal and external customers
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills, through creation/updating of web pages, internal email communications for large audiences, effective Powerpoint presentations, etc
Proficient in the use of project management tools (Microsoft project, Primavera, JIRA, etc)
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

Experience with launch vehicle development, production and operations
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management and Cost Account Management such as EVM
Experience with configuration management, requirements management processes, requirements change processes, risk management processes
Experience building tools for Data Analytics with SQL, Excel Power query, or Tableau
Experience with verification, integration, and test, of orbital launch vehicles or human rated spacecraft
Strong business management acumen and experience interfacing with large, geographically dispersed programs with large subcontractors
