Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field

Registered PE in Texas required or can be acquired through reciprocity within 6 months of hire.

10+ years and up of experience working in public works and/or municipal services projects.

Previous project management (or right-hand task lead to PM) experience in water, wastewater, lift stations, and pump stations.

Comfortable with verbal and non-verbal (electronic) communication to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Perform project management work on a variety of civil engineering projects related to water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and pump stations facilities

Oversee the performance of multiple project managers and/or engineers and their teams

Perform, coordinate and oversee the completion of various engineering tasks by technical staff and subconsultants

Lead project teams across simultaneous assignments

Supervise and mentor engineers, designers and technicians

Manage the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects

Serve as point of contact for clients

Partner with senior staff in developing and maintaining client relationships

Lead or support the development of project pursuits, proposals, and interviews
