Responsibilities

Work with engineering project teams to manage project metrics, earned value, cost, schedule, subcontracts, and materials through the project life cycle.

Analyze project data proactively and work directly with project teams to address variances and properly report and manage project data and metrics.

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))

Minimum 4 years’ experience in Project Management & Project Planning

Experience building, updating, and leading schedules and their reviews

Preferred platform for scheduling experience, MS Project, with the ability to adapt to other scheduling tools like Deltek Open Plan

Understands change management regarding updates to Budget, Authorized Spend, Forecast, and the mechanisms to channel baseline change requests

Knows how to interpret Project Dashboards regarding Financials, Variances, Indexes, and Resource Supply and Demand, including skill set requirements

An experienced level of knowledge into Excel for Pivot Tables and other formatting constants is needed, as well as established experience in Word for possible Customer documents submittals, and Power Point for presentations to upper management

Preferred

Experience in Earned Value Management

Experience in Project Management

PMP Certification or some formal training on the PMBOK guidelines
