Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership: Drive key projects from planning through execution and completion, focusing on strategic alignment with growth objectives. Ensure projects are safely delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Be the go-to person for internal and external stakeholders, fostering relationships, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Execution Strategy Development: Employ various execution strategies to adapt to project demands, ensuring successful outcomes.
Risk Management: Proactively manage project risks, implementing strategies to minimize impacts on schedule and budget.
Cost and Estimating Oversight: Develop accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Engineering and Design Coordination: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications align with industry standards and project goals.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
At least 10 years of project management experience in chemical manufacturing or a related industrial environment. A proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects with tangible results.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to steer project teams toward successful outcomes, demonstrating effective management throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Proficiency: Well-versed in project management practices and methodologies.
Communication: Strong communicator capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders and driving collaboration.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of chemical industry standards, safety practices, and environmental regulations.
Portfolio Oversight: Competence in overseeing a diverse project portfolio, aligning each initiative with strategic business objectives.
Travel required: Up to 50%
Preferred
A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
