Responsibilities
Ensure timely submission of new and renewal licensing requests of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners of a Telehealth group.
Assist with the onboarding process for new clinicians and maintain contact and follow-up with healthcare professionals throughout the credentialing process.
Coordinate and monitor the review and analysis of practitioner applications and accompanying documents, ensuring applicant eligibility.
Conduct thorough background investigation, research and primary source verification of all components of the application file and ensure provider files are current and noted in detail in the system of record.
Enroll providers with all applicable government, managed care and commercial payors.
Maintain accurate provider records within a database, including CAQH and payer portals.
Achieve productivity standards as determined by management.
Identify issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validate discrepancies and ensure appropriate follow up.
Monitor the initial, reappointment and expirable process for all affiliated providers.
Process requests for privileges, ensuring compliance with criteria outlined in clinical privilege descriptions.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies (Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS, federal and state).
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of Provider Licensing and Credentialing experience
5+ years of Provider Enrollment experience
3+ years of Medallion credentialing software experience
3+ years of Multi-state provider licensing and credentialing experience
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Attentive to detail and accuracy; strong organization skills required.
Database management skills including querying, reporting, and document generation.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
Excellent customer service skills including strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Experience with computers and Google suite programs is essential.
Preferred
2+ years of experience with physician collaboration agreements.
Working knowledge of telehealth/clinical operations and procedures is a plus!
Credentialing experience with national company is a plus!
Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is a plus!
