Responsibilities

Write, review, and edit test items across different psychological constructs
Analyze test items using factor analysis, item response theory and other psychometric analyses
Able to design studies to prove scale/test validity and reliability
Prepare internal and external reports to show scale/test reliability, validity, accuracy, and precision.
Work with our data science team to develop new algorithms for evaluating psychological traits
Create new psychological tests/assessments that go beyond traditional survey-based scales
Advises clients on sound measurement practice

Required

An advanced degree in psychometrics, quantitative psychology, or other related program.
Industry experience in marketing, market research, consulting or advertising.
Knowledge of measurement theory, test and survey construction and psychometric analysis of tests (e.g., item difficulty, item discrimination, scale reliability, scale validity, etc.).
Previous experience with advanced topics in psychometrics--scaling, linking, equating, CAT item pool assembly, etc.
Degree in psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, test assessment and evaluation, or related discipline.
Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (R required).
Familiarity with software packages and programming languages commonly used in psychometric work or measurement research (e.g., WINSTEPS, IRTPRO).
