Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and establishing relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers relevant to our clients’ industries.
Respond to media inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.
Draft press releases, media advisories, talking points, and other communications materials.
Collaborate with the team to create pitch materials and media kits.
Monitor media coverage and compile daily/weekly press clippings.
Maintain a database of media contacts and update records regularly.
Track and measure media engagement and coverage impact.
Assist in planning and executing press events, media briefings, and interviews.
Coordinate logistics, such as scheduling and preparing briefing materials for spokespeople.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and content, to ensure message consistency.
Support senior team members in developing and implementing media strategies.

Required
2-5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications (internships or part-time roles count).
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
Familiarity with media monitoring tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision, Meltwater) is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience working in an advertising agency.
Experience in the travel, tourism, and/or hospitality industry.
