Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts.
Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
Establishing procurement metrics and monitoring them.
Maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable sources of materials and favorable terms.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs, identifying potential supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
6-10 years experience in related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience with SAP and DDMRP highly regarded
