Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test plans and scenarios.

Execute manual and automated testing strategies to validate application functionality and ensure business processes meet established requirements.

Identify, analyze, and document software defects and business problems, providing innovative, evidence-based solutions.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement in the development process.

Utilize industry-standard tools to conduct performance, functional, and integration testing.

Generate and execute test scripts for automated tools such as HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Selenium, or SoapUI, and validate interface and batch processing files.

Maintain detailed testing documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect tracking, using tools like JIRA and HP ALM.

Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance application quality and usability based on test outcomes.

Required

Experience in software development and quality assurance, including hands-on experience with the SDLC and Agile methodologies.

In-depth knowledge of computer systems, IT equipment, programming languages, software, hardware, and operating systems.

Strong analytical skills in interpreting complex software issues, defects, and business problems to develop practical solutions.

Proficiency in developing test plans, test scenarios, and ensuring requirements are met through thorough testing processes.

Preferred

experience using tools such as HP UFT, Katalon, HP LoadRunner, SoapUI, LoadUI, Selenium, SQL, and XML.

Hands-on experience with testing and lifecycle management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, and JAMA.

Familiarity with Agile principles and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and end-users.

Proficiency in creating and executing automated tests, as well as running and analyzing interface and batch files.
