Responsibilities
Write automation scripts for UI, Backend, and API testing.
Utilize Cucumber BDD testing framework with Gherkin syntax.
Automate API testing and create mocks, stubs, and virtual services for test automation.
Implement continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) supporting technologies like GIT, GitLab, Docker.
Conduct White Box Testing practices and adhere to software engineering best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
Provide hands-on training for existing testers in automation script writing and usage.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure best practices are followed.

Required
Experience in UI, Backend and API automation testing.
Proficiency writing code in JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
Experience with Cucumber BDD testing framework (Gherkin syntax)
Experience with Node.js or other JavaScript runtime environments
Experience automating API testing and extensive knowledge of creating and leveraging mocks, stubs, and virtual services to fulfill test automation requirements
Experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) supporting technologies: GIT, GitLab, Docker
Extensive knowledge of White Box Testing practices.
Software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts (CI & CD), and test suite development and maintenance.
Working knowledge of Automated Test-Driven Development (ATDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Must be able to provide hands-on training for existing testers in writing and using automation scripts and ensuring best practices are followed.
Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiastic and energetic with an inherent curiosity to break code.
Preferred
Preferred BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
Experience with testing frameworks/libraries like MS Playwright, Cypress, Jest or other cross-browser automation libraries
Experience with JSforce or other Salesforce API libraries
Experience in SOQL or SQL language, able to write SQL/SOQL complex queries
Major plus with direct experience in Contact center services applications, Salesforce Lightning CRM, Financial services technology/consumer banking testing experience
