Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright for web applications.
Design, implement, and execute functional, regression, performance, and integration tests.
Identify, report, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
Perform exploratory testing and contribute to improving test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing workflows.
Troubleshoot test failures and provide root cause analysis for defects.
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
Continuously explore new testing strategies, tools, and technologies to improve the quality assurance process.

Required
3+ years of experience in QA engineering with hands-on expertise in Cypress and/or Playwright for web application testing.
Strong understanding of automated testing principles, test frameworks, and test methodologies.
Experience with JavaScript (or TypeScript) and writing automation scripts.
Strong skills with API testing tools such as Postman.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they interact in modern web applications.
Experience in both functional and non-functional testing (e.g., performance, load, security testing).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
Experience with Playwright or Cypress is a plus.
Familiarity with mobile app testing platforms.
Experience with test reporting and analysis tools.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Experience in performance testing
