Responsibilities
To perform quality assurance reviews for all Patient Access departments within Baptist Health South Florida following HIPAA, AHCA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and to assist with coordinating the acquisition and dissemination of data related to Patient Access to maximize reimbursement.

Required
Associates degree.
NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
One to two years experience in a health care environment with extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle (Patient Access, Case Mgmt, HIPAA, AHCA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Patient Finance, HIM, etc.) workflow processes with emphasis in Patient Access.
Experience & knowledge of PC applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Office products MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, etc.
Must be very detail oriented, self-motivated & have excellent organizational & interpersonal communication skills.
Highly organized & able to effectively maintain multiple initiatives while driving sustainable operational changes.
Demonstrate flexibility to perform other tasks as needed in an active work environment with changing work needs.
Fosters & exemplifies high ethical standards & strategic practices to enhance the success of the organization.
Ability to quickly learn & adapt to new technologies & software tools.
High level of attention to detail.
Self-motivation with an ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills in both customer & team interactions.
Ability to comprehend complex technical topics & specialized information.
Preferred
Certification preferred in Healthcare Financial Mgmt Association (HFMA), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), must obtain within one year.
