Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on software applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Validate application functionalities against defined requirements and report test results.
Participate in requirement analysis, design review, and sprint planning meetings.
Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities and prepare reports for management.
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollout.

Required
5+ Yrs of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Proficiency in creating detailed test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Basic understanding of database queries for backend validation.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
Familiarity with 508 compliance testing or accessibility standards is a bonus.
