Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and software features.
Design and document clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance of software features.
Use exploratory testing techniques to identify potential defects and suggest areas for improvement.
Simulate real-world user behavior to uncover edge cases and improve product reliability.
Log and track bugs or issues using defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
Reproduce issues and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
Assist senior QA members in creating and maintaining test plans using tools like TestRail or Qase.
Contribute ideas to improve QA processes and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Continuously expand knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and software development concepts.

Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting test results and communicating with team members.
Willingness to learn QA tools, testing techniques, and industry best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
Passion for delivering quality products and improving user experiences.
Permanent residency in one of the specified states is required.
Preferred
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Completion of a coding bootcamp, internship, or coursework in software development is highly desirable.
Experience or familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Qase, or TestRail is a plus.
Exposure to software development concepts, APIs, SQL, or debugging tools is beneficial.
Prior experience in related roles such as product management or Scrum Master roles with software knowledge is welcome.
