Responsibilities

Review requirements and develop test plans, test cases, and/or test scripts for multiple projects

Document test execution and coverage

Record defects with clarity and thoroughness

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Validate story functionality as described by acceptance criteria and supporting documentation

Execute thorough testing with attention given to the user experience and ensure timely delivery of test results pre- and post-deployment to a production environment

Communicate with team members and managers to understand functionality and risk, explain test strategy, share status updates, and/or potentially resolve task ambiguity
