Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with team and clients.

Desktop and mobile testing

Manual testing when not automated

Participate in project sprint planning and retrospectives.

Documenting, analyzing and interpreting tests for web and mobile based software.

Assist with creation of test procedures and documentation.

Report and track bugs using a bug tracking system.

Work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced development environment

Exploratory testing

Defect reporting

Maintaining regression test suite

Browser compatibility testing

Analytics tags testing/audit

Validate broken links and invalid or missing content, e.g. images, videos

Checking for missing page titles and metadata

Proofreading

Checking to see if applications are functioning correctly, e.g. online forms

Checking calculations of shopping tool components

Checking that legal and regulatory guidelines are being adhered.

Checking that the W3C standard is maintained.

Producing test cases/test plans/scenarios (when needed)

Evaluation of requirements for accuracy and completeness

Integration testing (microsites, app)
