Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test scripts for manual and automated testing.
Prepare and execute UAT test cases aligned with business requirements.
Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders for clarity and alignment.
Track test case execution and provide detailed reporting.
Use Jira for defect logging and tracking.
Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
Collaborate in Agile environments, supporting dev, test, and UAT environments.
Troubleshoot defects and provide technical support as needed.

Required

8+ years of experience in writing and executing test cases and creating test plans.
Proficient in software usability concepts, requirements traceability, and SDLC.
Expertise with Xray Test Case management tool and Jira.
Advanced knowledge of SQL (Create, Read, Update, Delete).
Hands-on experience in test automation using UFT.
Proficient in API Testing with tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or JMETER.
Experience in various testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, UAT, system, stress, and performance.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Experience working in an Agile environment with scrum teams.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred

Familiarity with code coverage tools and Object-Oriented Programming.
Previous experience working with State of Texas HHS agencies.
