Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software applications.

Collaborate with development teams to review product requirements and identify test scenarios.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across multiple environments.

Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work with developers to resolve them.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

Ensure that testing processes align with industry standards and best practices for quality assurance.

Provide feedback to developers and stakeholders on the status of testing efforts and the quality of the product.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and releases.

Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and bug reports for future reference.

Participate in code reviews and ensure that software meets quality, security, and performance standards.

Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to the development of best practices for QA.

Perform load, stress, and performance testing to assess the application’s scalability and stability.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester with strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.

Strong experience with manual testing, test case development, and defect tracking.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing into automated build and deployment processes.

Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.

Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in complex systems.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

Experience testing mobile applications (iOS, Android) is a plus.

Federal Experience is a plus.
