Responsibilities
Read and interpret complex blueprints and customer specifications and requirements.
Program and run bridge and/or Handheld style CMMs.
Perform thorough inspections of machined parts using blue light scanning.
Perform final product and assembly inspections and tests.
Perform first-piece inspections.
Perform in-process inspections.
Inspect vendor-supplied items for compliance.
Perform gauge and maintain a log documenting calibration.
Interact with customers and quality development personnel.
Use a variety of handheld tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other measurement devices.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Associate degree or equivalent technical school training.
Experience programming and running bridge and/or Faro Arm style CMMs.
2-3 years of inspection experience, preferred.
Familiarity with the AS9100 quality system is desirable.
Familiarity with DoD/Mil specifications and processes is desirable.
Problem solver with the ability to take initiative.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Attention to detail.
Excellent organization and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to climb, squat, and stand on your feet for long periods.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony + sex offender)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
Applicants for employment must be U.S. Citizens or national, U.S. permanent residents (i.e., current Green Card holders), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred
2-3 years of inspection experience, preferred.
