Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD frameworks.
Perform testing on Mainframe systems to ensure seamless integration and system reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, design test strategies, and define test cases.
Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers for resolution.
Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data for functional and regression testing.
Implement best practices for test automation and continuously enhance the automation suite for increased efficiency.
Document test results and provide clear feedback to stakeholders regarding software quality.

Required
Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber BDD Frameworks.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience working with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe utilities.
Ability to test mainframe applications and integrate automation into mainframe environments.
Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Junit/TestNG.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with mainframe automation tools like Rational Functional Tester (RFT) or similar.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
