Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing using defect tracking tools.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and stress testing on various applications.
Participate in requirements analysis and provide feedback on potential issues early in the software development lifecycle.
Work closely with the development team to understand the application architecture and technology.
Automate regression tests to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Perform API testing and assess the responsiveness and functionality of web services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of new features.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
Review user interfaces and usability from an end-user perspective.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Provide training and support to junior QA testers as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of applications post-deployment.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role in software development.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium or JUnit.
Experience in manual testing and the ability to write clear and concise test cases.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Proficiency in documenting testing processes and results effectively.
Ability to work with version control systems like Git.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Preferred
Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# are a plus.
