Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s quality strategy in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals, including quality systems/process owners, laboratory managers, and metrology development leaders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
Lead the development, design, and oversee implementation of robust quality systems adhering to semiconductor industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Oversees internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with customer-specific and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and improve quality metrics, driving actionable insights to enhance overall performance.
Guarantee that robust change management systems are in place to evaluate, approve, and document process changes, ensuring minimal impact on product quality and consistency.
Lead cross-functional reviews of proposed changes, addressing potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Act as the primary interface with customers for change notifications, ensuring transparency and alignment with customer requirements.
Monitor adherence to change control protocols and conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Provide leadership and direction to the laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing and analysis of ultra-pure materials.
Drive advancements in metrology and analytical capabilities to meet evolving semiconductor industry standards.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance laboratory precision and efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on quality matters, ensuring rapid and effective issue resolution.
Represent the company during customer audits, quality reviews, and technical discussions, showcasing the organization’s commitment to excellence.
Advocate for customer needs within the manufacturing and technology development teams, translating requirements into actionable strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives partnering closely with manufacturing and technology development teams to integrate quality considerations into production processes and new technology implementations.
Lead root cause analysis and establish best practices and corrective action processes, ensuring alignment across teams to prevent the recurrence of issues.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of quality management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven experience managing teams and leading quality systems in the semiconductor or ultra-pure chemical supplying semiconductor industries
Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 standards with demonstrated experience managing audits
Expertise in quality management systems, change control processes, and risk assessment methodologies
Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing quality requirements and standards
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, leadership and organizational skills
Effective communication and customer relationship management capabilities
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects with competing priorities

Preferred

Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
