Responsibilities

Driving improvements to Quality Engineering and Inspection processes to reduce touch time and increase efficiency.

Serving as the primary Quality contact between Dallas Manufacturing areas, off sites, supported programs, internal compliance group and DCMA.

Championing Quality concepts across all functional groups to promote a Quality approach to system improvements.

Acting as the liaison between Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Industrial Engineering to ensure a multifunctional team approach is taken.

Driving the Quality mindset throughout the multifunctional disciplines, promote and teach Quality approaches to all efforts.

Driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tool sets.

Establishing operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate functional Quality organization.

Interpreting, executing, and recommending modifications to Quality policies and procedures.

Exerting influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of the site Electrical manufacturing areas.

Frequently contacting with higher level managers, industry peers, and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, technical activities, schedules, and general overall performance of site manufacturing areas.

Conducting performance briefings and technical presentations for LOB directors, site management and program management.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Experience in Quality Management System personnel and processes

Experience in Quality Assurance Management

Experience in driving improvements to Quality Engineering and Inspection processes

Experience in serving as the primary Quality contact between different stakeholders

Experience in championing Quality concepts across functional groups

Experience in driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tool sets

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering or related field

Certification in Lean Six Sigma

Experience in Electrical manufacturing areas

Experience in promoting and teaching Quality approaches

Experience in one company, one team philosophy

Experience in conducting performance briefings and technical presentations
