Responsibilities
Interact with internal and external customers to resolve quality problems.
Participate in Customer Complaint Analysis.
Actively participate in Layered Process Audit to resolve issues.
Identify and resolve product quality problems in collaboration with Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Engineering.
Visit customers at job sites as required.
Review and audit specifications, Standard Operating Sheets, and Work Packets for accuracy.
Support production employees in interpreting specifications and solving problems.
Inspect escalated products and cabinets through the Quality Control Tag process.
Gather and interpret data from quality audits.
Review handling rules and recommend improvements to reduce damage.
Provide training/coaching on quality-related issues to production associates and management.
Lead/participate in Kaizen improvement events.
Report on projects using the A3 project management process.
Support and supervise a small team of hourly quality specialists.
Develop in-depth knowledge of all MasterBrand strategic business units.
Demonstrate the MasterBrand Way to position the company for growth.
Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with management and staff, sharing information, seeking feedback, and accepting additional assignments.
Identify self-development needs and seek opportunities for skill improvement.
Participate in company efforts related to ethics and compliance activities.
Perform other assigned duties.

Required
Ability to apply and interpret statistical data.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
Six Sigma training and experience preferred, specifically experience in PFEMA.
Must be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to actively initiate, lead and participate in problem-solving activities.
Must be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance to the Kinston Quality System.
Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
Must have the ability to deliver a formal project status presentation to MasterBrand Leadership.
BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
3-6 years of quality experience in manufacturing preferred
