Responsibilities

Most importantly, have integrity and the courage to address problems immediately.

Play a key role in meeting contractual requirements and making quality-related decisions.

Act as a liaison for Government initiatives, audits, and requirements.

Support production through QE studies, design changes, and quality support.

Conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and more.

Develop Quality plans for various inspection and manufacturing processes.

Collaborate with customers and suppliers for root cause identification.

Improve inspection costs and prevent failures through statistical analysis.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Minimum 3+ years of professional work experience in Engineering or Manufacturing, 2 or more of those years must be in Quality Engineering in manufacturing

This position requires access to United States export-controlled information

Preferred

3 or more years of Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry

Experience and knowledge of AS9100 standards

Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, and database software packages

Experience supporting government and customer audits

Specialized technical knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical components, and manufacturing assembly, and functional test methods

ASQ certification is a plus
