Responsibilities
Implement quality assurance protocols and processes to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct detailed quality assessments and audits of manufacturing processes to identify and rectify quality issues.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.
Manage supplier quality, including evaluating supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and ensuring material compliance with quality standards. Up to 10% domestic travel.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement initiatives and reduce product defects.
Utilize statistical process control and other quality engineering tools to analyze data and enhance product quality.
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and quality management system requirements.
Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality-related issues.
Provide technical guidance and training to other team members on quality assurance practices and standards.
Collaborate with Operations, Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure overall product integrity and excellence.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
3-5 years previous experience in a Quality Engineering role in an Industrial Manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, including statistical process control and Six Sigma techniques.
Proficiency in using quality tools and software, such as MRP/ERP systems, 5 Why, and 8D for data analysis and reporting.
Attention to detail.
Ability to be versatile and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of MRP, PC, and database programs.
Advanced level Excel and data analytics proficiency.
