Responsibilities
Planning quality measures to ensure products meet specifications and implementing measures to prevent errors.
Optimizing administrative processes within the department.
Planning and optimizing testing procedures in Incoming Inspection, Production, and Final Inspection.
Supporting shop foremen, workers, and design engineers on quality topics.
Assisting in decisions regarding non-conforming materials and products.
Analyzing production data to reduce quality problems and improve product quality.
Reporting and analyzing quality metrics, complaints, and audit measures.
Handling customer and supplier complaints related to quality, packaging, and transport.
Coordinating quality activities with customers and suppliers.
Supporting the maintenance and development of local Quality Assurance processes.
Participating in internal and external audits, supplier evaluations, and document control activities.

Required
Engineering Degree (ie. Chem Eng, Mech Eng, Industrial Eng)
Minimum 0 to 2 years experience in Quality Control
Familiarity with ISO 9001, Quality and Testing Methods
