Responsibilities
Perform duties as lead DQR for all customers, lead CIT for IPC standard training (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001,
Perform sales order reviews to ensure customer flow down requirements can be met and generate Quality Control Instructions (QCI’s).
Leads in the creation and completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s) and first article inspection paperwork.
Lead and coordinate on-site customer source inspections.
Maintain training schedules for IPC standards.
Participate and/or contribute to site Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects.
Leads the site Foreign Object Debris (FOD) & 5-S program.
Updates Quality Procedures and documents.
Complete customer Quality surveys.
Provides Quality KPIs, metrics and reports as needed to leadership team.
Trains production operators on workmanship standards. Measure, review, and provide feedback on production processes.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field (electrical, mechanical, industrial, etc.) required
Three to five years of related work experience in manufacturing operations preferred
Experience working with a Tier 1/Prime contractor preferred
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail is required
Commitment to work with a hands-on approach in a team atmosphere is required
Meets vision requirements specified by quality management system
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
Preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus
Experience with associated military and aerospace specifications is a plus
