Responsibilities
Contribute to an engineering team responsible for the backend service supporting the Walmart Omni Promotions Platform.
Deliver manual and automated testing efforts for product features to enhance business and customer experience.
Improve availability and quality in software stacks through engineering excellence efforts.
Partner with product and engineering peers to develop thorough testing plans.
Execute thorough manual testing of scenarios and communicate detailed findings of issues.
Document detailed test cases for automated testing purposes.
Build automated testing solutions to improve software availability and quality.
Support product and engineering peers through testing use cases.
Write high quality tests and any scripting/code that accommodates testability/testing processes.
Develop a thorough understanding of the space in relation to business, customer, and peer engineering teams/stacks.
Review test plans and write high quality test plan documents.
Communicate testing findings clearly with accompanying details, pictures/videos/screen captures to assist the engineering team.

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area
4 years' experience in software engineering quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area
Preferred
Master's degree in Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area
Quality assurance certification (for example, CSTE - Certified Test Engineer, CSQA - Certified Software Quality Analyst)
Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare)
Software Engineering Quality Assurance, Manual/Automated Testing, or related area
