Responsibilities
Perform inspections of aerospace hardware, sub-assemblies, and systems.
Verify routine conformance to design requirements.
Provide objective evidence of inspection results.
Document all noted defects or discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to installation procedures and engineering specifications.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and other departments.
Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiate requests for corrective action.
Segregate and control non-conforming items.
Perform regular audits of processes, tool controls, and calibration.
Qualification

Required
Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), with overtime as needed.
1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
1+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
Must be able to perform inspections in permit-required confined spaces.
1+ years of experience using boom lifts, mobile lifts, and scissor lifts.
Preferred
American Society for Quality Certifications (CQI, CQT, Six Sigma, etc.)
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or Inspection Authorization
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience identifying engineering characteristics on products and using calibrated equipment to measure and report results
Experience working in a team environment
Formal or informal team leadership experience
