Responsibilities
Manage the ISO 9001:2015 QMS
Conduct internal audits to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard
Manage quality control personnel on a day-to-day basis
Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development
Design, implement, and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
Establish, implement, and maintain metrics for monitoring system effectiveness
Perform root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities
Establish collection and analysis systems of statistical data
Conducted or participated in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Develop process certification standards and assist in process certification
Review customer purchase orders, contracts, and change requests
Basic understanding of running a CMM or Faro Arm and interpretation of GD&T
Launch Kaizen events for Continuous Improvements
Oversee calibration and testing programs
Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Maintain required documentation of quality control processes

Required
BS in quality engineering or equivalent experience
Thorough knowledge of IATF 16949 to include APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control plans, PPAP and standardized work
Knowledge in welding steel product in accordance to ANSI/AWS standard - D1.1
Ability to train manufacturing staff in matters of the quality process
Experience in design/prototype manufacture
Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control
Experience in designing and implementing quality management systems
Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong computer skills including quality control applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases
Thorough understanding of general safety requirements
Understanding of Mil Standards
