Responsibilities

Assist and perform in testing basic level tasks to ensure software changes meet design specifications and quality standards.

Research, test, and report results of testing scenarios.

Write release notes and new system enhancement documentation.

Participate in design teams for product enhancements.

Test system documentation and recommend edits/enhancements.

Answer basic level questions regarding application screens and processes under test.

Commit to NISC's Statement of Shared Values.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Basic level knowledge of quality assurance testing and automated testing tools, including mobile testing

Basic ability to troubleshoot

Basic level knowledge of business-related software applications and services

Basic level knowledge of NISC's technology stacks

Basic level knowledge of the Utility or Broadband industries

Basic level knowledge of Project Management processes and theory

Basic verbal and written communication skills

Excellent telephone/email etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with Member/Customers

Basic research and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail

Basic ability to organize and prioritize

Basic ability to set and manage internal and external Member/Customer expectations

Basic ability to demonstrate initiative and accountability

Basic level knowledge of software and software integrations

Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience

Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position
