Responsibilities

Reviews the daily patient schedule in order to maximize efficiency and minimize patient waiting time.

Ensure proper identification and documentation of radiographic images

Transfers patient safety to exam table and provides patient safety by providing appropriate monitoring/ visualization during exam.

Positions patient under x-ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and affixes lead shields to protect unaffected areas.

Follow established protocols for cleaning, preparing, and operating radiological equipment.

Provide hand-off reports to other teammates that are accurate, concise, and pertinent to the patient's condition and response to care.
