Responsibilities

Plan and ensure an appropriate project portfolio for the team.

Contribute to technical bodies relevant to ABB R&D, inside and outside the company.

Develop and acquire competencies needed for the development of future products and systems.

Required

Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience working in R&D, management, and/or manufacturing environment.

Hands on working experience with Milling Machines, Lathes, Waterjet Cutting Machines, Wire EDM Machining, Press Brakes, 3D Printers, and other typical machine shop equipment. Certified Tool and Die Maker or Certified Machinist Journeyman preferred.

Proficient in using MasterCAM (or similar) with experience in 3D CAD Software design.

High level of organization and experience with machine shop/manufacturing processes and logistics, planning, managing, and executing projects.

Project finance knowledge and proven ability to manage budgets.

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
