Responsibilities

Identify RCx efficiency opportunities, calculate energy savings, maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver presentations
Conducting site surveys and facilities assessments
Working on-site with facility managers, facility and manufacturing engineers, contracts, supplies and energy engineers to encourage energy efficiency practices in their facilities
HVAC system assessments for general conditions and to identify energy savings opportunities.
Energy analyses based on trending, bin weather data, and regression analysis.
Building Automation System review, opportunity assessment, and verification work.
Knowledge of all types and opportunities of building systems, including HVAC, pumps, chilled water, hot water, steam, and compressed air.
Evaluate energy consuming systems and consult on behalf of the utility energy efficiency program
Preparing reports and delivering presentations
This position requires a valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree.
Two plus (2+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management for Junior Level.
Four plus (4+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management for Mid-Level.
Eight plus (8+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management for Senior Level.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.
Strong knowledge needed in retro-commissioning of HVAC, lighting, and process systems.
Ability to utilize initiative to develop relationships with customers, vendors, and professional organizations.
Knowledge of operational trends, energy efficiency technologies, practices, and regulations in electric and natural gas demand side management.

Preferred

Ability to perform ASHRAE level I,II, III energy auditing for commercial and industrial facilities.
Knowledge of different types of Building Automation Systems.
