Responsibilities
Assist General Appraiser in developing and writing narrative appraisal reports for all types of public agency, litigation, and tax related matters.
Field work throughout the Metro NYC area, Long Island, and the lower Hudson Valley counties.
Conduct phone interviews, in person municipal research, online, and database research.

Required
Assist General Appraiser in developing and writing narrative appraisal reports for all types of public agency, litigation, and tax related matters.
This work performed will qualify for experience credits towards an appraisal license.
Must be willing to do field work throughout the Metro NYC area, Long Island, and the lower Hudson Valley counties.
Must be able to do phone interviews, in person municipal research, online, and database research.
An automobile, laptop computer and phone with a good camera are required.
Must be able to conceptualize and write well.
Must be a self-starter who will diligently follow instructions.
Must be able to work independently and reliably meet deadlines.
Must be extremely careful about quality and accuracy.
Must possess a 'detective mindset' and be persistent.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work with people.
Must be computer literate and willing to learn new software.
Experience with moderate to advanced real estate terminology is required.
Only those living in New York City, on Long Island or in the lower Hudson Valley will be considered.
