Responsibilities
Reviews first-party claims for subrogation potential and assigns adjusters/experts.
Identifies and pursues recovery from responsible parties or insurers.
Coordinates with subrogation attorneys and reviews invoices for compliance.
Maintains diary system for follow-up and utilizes claims systems for file management.
Retains and manages outside vendors and experts as needed.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree
1 to 2 years of related work experience
Basic math
Basic literacy in computer knowledge and use
Preferred
Claim investigation practices
Insurance courses such as IIA or AIC in coverage, subrogation, legal principles, legal terminology, contracts, and business law
1-2 years’ experience in liability and/or subrogation claim handling
