Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire: Manage a dedicated team of recruiters, guiding them to source, recruit, and onboard exceptional drivers across multiple regions.
Innovative Recruiting Strategies: Develop and implement creative, cost-effective recruiting tactics to attract top driver and transport partner talent as Onward expands into new regions.
End-to-End Onboarding: Oversee and enhance an all-encompassing onboarding process for Companion drivers and transport partners ensuring rigorous compliance checks (background checks, drug tests, vehicle information), successful training completions, vendor management, and system optimizations to ensure all drivers consistently meet Onward's high standards.
Drive Compliance Excellence: Stay ahead of industry regulations and ensure timely renewals and compliance for all drivers, ensuring full adherence to customer and sector-specific requirements.
Training and Retention: Build and maintain robust driver and transport partner training programs, ensuring drivers and transport partners are well-equipped to succeed. Implement strategies to improve driver retention and reduce turnover.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and smooth integration of new drivers into Onward’s culture.

Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of high-volume recruiting and onboarding experience, and at least 1-2 years in a managerial capacity.
Expertise in leveraging KPIs, metrics, and analytics to boost recruiter performance, achieve quotas, and meet demand targets.
Thrive in people-centric roles and are able to foster positive relationships with candidates, drivers, and internal teams.
Meticulous eye for detail, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are current and no steps are missed in the interview and onboarding processes.
Flourish in a startup culture characterized by flexibility, agility, and the necessity to adapt quickly.
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for driver recruiting, onboarding processes, and team events.
Preferred
A knack for compliance is advantageous.
Previous startup experience is a plus.
