Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective and current donors and clients.
Manage giving portfolio from cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of regional corporations, foundations, and individual donors.
Successfully solicit and showcase excellent stewardship of gifts up to $50,000.
Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, donors, and stakeholders within the region of Texas to support Compudopt’s mission.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate and foundation supporters and individual donors by working collaboratively with regional staff and volunteers to identify leads aligned with campaign goals and Compudopt’s mission.
Use a relationship-based approach to move leads through the donor pipeline, from initial engagement to major contributions.
Preparing and presenting proposals, sponsorship packages, and other materials to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.
Collaborate with the designated grant writer on grant writing projects.
Prepare and provide monthly giving reports as requested
Support the Development Director and Board fundraising efforts as needed.
Provide a high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, community leaders, donors, and funded partners.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required
HS Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields.
Proven ability to identify, qualify, and cultivate leads, resulting in revenue growth.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or related fields.
