Responsibilities
Provide overarching leadership and set the vision for the region’s growth and development.
Develop and articulate a comprehensive sales and services strategy that aligns with Mastercam’s long-term goals, incorporating market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
Ensure that strategies are customer-focused, making agile decisions to promptly and effectively meet customer needs.
Lead and inspire diverse sales teams, including Sales Management, Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Client Success teams, and Channel Partners.
Promote continuous learning and development, mentoring sales managers to strengthen leadership and ensure a strong talent pipeline within the organization.
Cultivate a culture of innovation, ambition, and high performance, fostering a commitment to continuous improvement, ethical leadership, and a passion to win.
Oversee the strategic integration of North American resellers into the direct sales force, focusing on acquiring and retaining top sales and technical talent.
Ensure that newly acquired team members are fully aligned with Mastercam’s strategic objectives, processes, and culture.
Drive efforts to not only preserve but improve customer satisfaction and success by leveraging the strengths of the newly integrated talent to deliver even greater value and support.
Drive the team to meet and exceed sales quotas, revenue targets, and OKRs, ensuring alignment with Mastercam’s strategic objectives.
Prioritize the growth of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by focusing on the consistent renewal and expansion of product subscriptions and maintenance agreements on perpetual licenses.
Focus on driving new license sales for product subscriptions while maintaining strong renewal rates for existing maintenance agreements.
Track key metrics to ensure accountability and high performance across the North America sales and services team.
Ensure that all sales efforts, including those through Channel Partners, align with regional and global business objectives, contributing to Mastercam's overall success.
Implement specific, tactical sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market penetration.
Drive digital transformation initiatives within the regional sales and services teams to enhance efficiency, customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
Promote sustainable practices within the region, ensuring alignment with Sandvik’s broader corporate responsibility initiatives.
Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
Leverage these insights to adapt strategies, maintain a competitive edge, and support the growth of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and renewals.
Identify and capitalize on new opportunities in established and emerging markets.
Drive Mastercam’s continued leadership by empowering teams and implementing strong performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure the regional sales team strictly adheres to Mastercam's established sales processes implemented in Salesforce.
Enforce proper pipeline inspection, opportunity management, and compliance with all sales procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in forecasting.
Oversee the effective use of Salesforce CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline, ensuring the team spends time on qualified opportunities.
Regularly inspect the pipeline to identify gaps, remove obstacles, and accelerate the sales cycle.
Drive the optimization of sales operations by promoting the consistent application of best practices across the team, ultimately reducing sales cycle length, improving win rates, and ensuring that sales efforts are focused on high-potential opportunities.
Ensure consistent and effective utilization of Salesforce CRM and CPQ tools to manage accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, and the overall sales process.
Focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date data across all stages of the sales cycle, which is critical for reliable forecasting, informed decision-making, and strategic planning.
Lead the regional team responsible for pre-sales, application engineering, and professional services to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Ensure the team is aligned with global best practices and methodologies, driving a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Focus on enabling customers to achieve their business outcomes by proactively addressing pain points and delivering innovative solutions.
Emphasize the importance of renewals, showcasing the ongoing value of maintenance, support, and continuous improvement in customer workflows.
Oversee the delivery of advanced configurations and customizations through professional services designed to optimize customer workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure that Mastercam’s solutions are tailored to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Champion a forward-looking approach that anticipates future challenges and opportunities, ensuring that Mastercam remains a trusted partner in driving sustained customer success and growth.
Lead initiatives to enhance the overall Customer Experience (CX), ensuring that every interaction across the customer journey contributes to their success and satisfaction.
Manage and facilitate cross-selling opportunities with other Sandvik teams, SMF Business Units, and OEMs.
Leverage these relationships to expand Sandvik and Mastercam’s market presence and drive additional revenue streams.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to incorporate customer feedback into product development and service improvements, focusing on market expansion and elevating customer satisfaction.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive sales leadership experience within the software industry.
At least ten (10) years in a management position overseeing regional sales operations, including both strategic accounts and channel partners management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
MBA or equivalent advanced degree highly preferred.
