Responsibilities
Responsible for personnel management functions including but not limited to: lead, coach, mentor, recruit, conduct quarterly business and performance reviews, disciplinary actions
Responsible to create and maintain inter-departmental continuity and proper communication channels between operational departments, human resources, and administration
Manage and grow opportunities with existing customers while prospecting and developing new business relationships
Meet monthly and annual sales/revenue targets
Assist account managers with bidding/quoting projects and creating proposals
Maintain current and develop new relationships with manufacturer sales representatives
Identify and qualify key “Decision Makers” (buying influencers) in all key and target accounts
Create value beyond our products and services in a way that differentiates us from the competition
Maintain good working knowledge of products – be a resource for your team and customers
Perform all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Stay current with industry trends

Required
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant work experience
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in account management or similar role
Prior acute care sales experience a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experienced in Microsoft office products and Salesforce CRM
Must live in the geographical location of the position
Regular daily travel within the geographic territory as business needs require
