Responsibilities

Initiate and follow-up with customers and provide to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence and reports

Sell Benefit Express to health insurance brokers as well as direct to employers.

Meet the assigned quota on an annual basis.

Prepares and presents proposals, based on customer needs

Provides advisory support and assistance to the department supervisor as needed

Attends sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, regulations in the market place

Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Required

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, policies, documents and regulations.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Skill and ability to meet people, listen and sell.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, pro-rata, percentages, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

Knowledge of computer skills. MS Office is preferred.

Has territory management experience.

Preferred

High school diploma and two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree preferred.

Industry experience and sales experience is preferred.
