Responsibilities
Responsible for recruiting, hiring sales representatives, and following termination protocols; develop their team and create a desired-state talent bench.
Manage, direct, and monitor Regional activities to meet and/or exceed the Region’s targeted sales and gross profit contribution by customer segment and product category.
Co-travel to train, coach and measure sales representatives relative to territory management, consultative selling skills, product knowledge and business acumen; identify challenges and opportunities within territories, guide plans to correct and/or capitalize.
Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, and effectively manage and defuse escalations.
Advance Hayes culture by promoting respect, trust, accountability, transparency, sharing best practices, diversity, and diversity of thought.
Direct and monitor sales representative compliance with company's policies and procedures, including expense budget, CRM, territory quadrant management, and compliance with the proprietary Hayes selling process.
Work with Hayes Leadership to develop and promote the Region’s compensation plans, incentives, promotions, contests, and account analysis to grow profitable sales in the Region.
Provide market and customer feedback to the leadership team.
Work with the customer service manager to align on DSO agreements, OSHA training needs for remote territories, and to meet or exceed Region’s targeted sales and gross profit.
Plan and participate in trade shows within his/her respective Region in coordination with Leadership.
Develop relationships with Hayes Franchises within the region and develop a coverage plan, including new sales representative hiring, when integrating acquired franchises.
Responsible for DSO and Government Account management and growth within the region
Responsible for weekly regional update/forecast meetings and support with Company/Franchise Education Meetings.
Prepares monthly sales reports showing sales, risks and opportunities to budget. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, market potential, price schedules, and contracts. Responsible for monthly sales forecasts on regional market sales.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Required
Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.
Strong management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
Excellent independent decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Understand and act on financial information that contributes to business profitability.
Ability to plan and manage successful projects; understand available resources, develop timeline, budget, assign tasks and areas of responsibility.
Lead team(s) to achieve company goals in creative and effective ways.
Excellent planning and organizational skills and techniques.
Communicate effectively with senior management.
Good negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage outsourced relationships.
Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, and manage conflict.
Broad professional and managerial skills with a good understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
Ability to lead virtual teams.
Knowledge of Medical Industry and Product.
Familiarity of eCommerce and related order entry system.
Ability to download reports and import files.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
