Responsibilities
Handle sales process from start to finish, including, prospecting, demonstrations, negotiation, follow-up and closing the sale.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective and current customers.
Build and grow strong pipeline of key project accounts for instruments and consumables through generating leads, and follow up on provided leads.
Identify best system and configuration for customer needs; know competitive instruments and differentiation features of our systems to address competitive challenges.
Coordinate with applications, programming and service teams to provide post-sale installation, training, customer support and service.
Manage sales activities and travel schedule.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant biological science or engineering field, such as Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Travel required: up to 40%, including overnight stays.
Preferred
5+ years of experience in selling liquid handling and automation capital equipment, with a strong technical understanding of life science products and their applications
Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities while increasing visibility for the company and its instruments.
Proficiency in computer programming and software applications, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to application-specific software and firmware; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Expertise in consultative selling within both individual and team environments, with a proven ability to close capital equipment sales and foster long-term key account partnerships.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly, articulating complex technical issues, and engaging with individuals at all levels.
Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.
Ability to build and maintain strong, trustworthy business relationships, leveraging long-term partnerships to achieve collective success.
Demonstrated enthusiasm and self-motivation, taking pride in their work and channeling energy into achieving tasks with a strong sense of ownership.
Customer-centric mindset, actively seeking to understand customer needs, addressing challenges with tailored solutions, and incorporating feedback to improve experiences and prevent recurring issues.
