Responsibilities
Leads, manages, and directs all aspects of sales to develop and deliver business goals for assigned accounts along with customer-specific long-range and annual business plans & strategies to achieve Sales, Profit and Volume Goals.
Drives distribution expansion within assigned accounts, conducts promotion planning and assessment and manages overall customer spend within provided guardrails.
Leads sales forecast development for assigned accounts and represents accounts/forecasts in cross-functional internal meetings and initiatives.
Directs the day-to-day and strategic sales effort to win, maintain and grow business. Including direct account responsibility for assigned accounts and/or strategic initiatives attached to these accounts.
Business development: product ideation inclusive of private brands, new customer, new channel opportunities.
Engage with marketing department on item, marketing, digital opportunities.
Directly impacts strategic direction for assigned accounts and indirectly for the entire division.
Evaluates complex situations using multiple sources of information.
Expert level analytical skills and evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations.
Leads best practices and development of Sales Action Planning process and pipeline management to achieve company goals.
Ability to/manage cross-functional projects at a leadership and strategic level.
Develops growth strategy initiatives for assigned accounts to meet business objectives.
Budget and P&L ownership for assigned accounts.
Service areas in the Southeast region.

Required
Min 4 years in broker management.
Strong leadership, performance management & coaching skills required.
Min 4 years calling on Publix and/or Ahold Banners.
Proven ability to set strategic direction and handle complexity required.
Expert level understanding of industry sector and competitive landscape.
Bachelor’s degree (business or related fields); MBA preferred.
Min 6+ years of food industry sales experience.
Preferred
Proven track record in developing and executing account strategies and delivering sustained P&L growth.
Retail CPG experience preferred.
