Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the assigned territory.
Identify and prioritize key accounts within the region
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with first responder agencies.
Understand customer needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
Generate and qualify sales leads.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to law enforcement personnel.
Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
Maintain accurate records of expenses and submit expense reports.
Attend industry trade shows and conferences.

Required

Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Proficient in statistical and graphical data analysis.
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and takes initiative, demonstrating strong work ethic and dependability.
Highly efficient in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks, with a strong sense of urgency and action-oriented mindset.
Over three years of experience in sales, industry knowledge, and managerial roles with increasing responsibilities.
Dependable, flexible, and open to feedback for personal development, actively seeking ways to leverage strengths and improve weaknesses.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have ability to travel within the assigned territory a couple of weeks of month.
Must be comfortable to carry and use firearms.
Must be capable of carrying, lifting and demo heavy weight equipment.
Strong understanding of law enforcement operations and needs.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

Preferred experience in NetSuite, PowerBI and proficiency in sales and CRM software.
Proven experience in law enforcement sales or a related field preferred.
Territory management and tactical experience preferred.
Experience in the firearms industry or related field preferred and knowledge of law enforcement regulations and procedures.
