Responsibilities
Build and manage a network of field sales representatives
Establish clear sales objectives for each team member that aligns with regional sales goals
Create a distinct sales process and marketing strategies for field sales and sales representatives to follow
Educate sales team on new or upcoming products and services
Create, execute, and maintain a 30-60-90 day plan with a focus on selling
Continually monitor regional sales performance and coach team to make adjustments as needed
Analyze monthly sales outcomes and create reports for upper management
Visit Customers within region (International)
Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company services and products.
Track all sales activities in the company’s CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships
Attend trade shows and conventions as needed

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, sales management, or related field.

Preferred
5+ years sales experience
5+ years sales management experience
5+ years electric utility related experience
Professional and friendly demeanor and appearance
History of success in building a regional market
Natural leader with proven management skills
Experience forecasting sales and building a customer base
Flexible schedule and able to travel
Possess adaptability to changing priorities (multi-tasking)
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
